Sekurus International LLC is proud to announce that the world renowned SekurTrack solution has once again succeeded during a live test run by reporting fully logged communications data when using a non-roaming GSM enabled SIM card.
Continuing on from the recently announced 'roaming' tracking of the Swiss 2008 HOG rally, Sekurus International SekurTrack enabled Harley-Davidson bike joined the Phoenix Riders together with MBC1(Good Morning Arab's) that airs Saturday to Wednesday 11am to 1pm KSA, on a day trip to Khasab (Oman) on Friday 24th April.
"Whilst Sekurus International's tracking solution already handles cross border multi roaming GSM networks, the data logging feature enables the device to operate with a non-roaming GMS enabled SIM card and still maintain the full data transmissions immediately once the device returns to the GSM Operator's network," said Basel Al Salah, Founder & CEO of Sekurus International.
He continued, "The results were as expected, when we crossed the Oman border and out of the local operator network the SekurTrack built in data logger automatically recorded all location and event data for the entire trip in Oman. When we returned to the UAE and re-entered the local operator network, the data logger immediately started to transmit the recorded data back to our web application."
"The test shows the flexibility of our SekurTrack GPS/GPRS total solution by ensuring that the Fleet Managers have the choice between utilising either roaming or non-roaming SIM cards. When cellular coverage is unreliable or absent, SekurTrack stores up to 2256 time stamped events in it's memory," Al Salah added, "These events are stored for an unlimited duration even in case of failure to both primary and backup power sources."
"Sekurus International has combined this full event data logging latest feature with the existing roaming capabilities as a part of the current vehicle tracking asset management and maintenance - into an integrated tracking application for faster and easier decision making," concluded Al Salah. "This web based application is provided as a part of the offering and can be readily integrated with existing back-office systems."
